The Plymouth Redevelopment Commission members will meet tonight where they will get updates from all of the current projects in all TIF Districts.
There are eight projects currently underway which include the Hoham Drive project, Pioneer Drive, REES Theater, Aquatic Center, Pretzels, Inc., River Gate South, Winona Building Products, and Centennial Crossing.
The commission members will continue a discussion concerning the purchase of a fire truck. Fire Chief Rod Miller previously explained to the commission members that he wants to replace a 27-year-old fire engine truck in the fleet to a newer model. Miller commented that this request is usually supported by the Cumulative Capital Development Fund out of the city’s budget, but it won’t be available to support the purchase of a fire truck.
The Plymouth Redevelopment Commission will meet at 5:30 p.m. tonight in the Council Chambers Room in the Plymouth City Building at 124 N. Michigan Street. Those who plan on attending the meeting should enter the building through the Garro Street entrance.
