A ribbon cutting ceremony is set for today at 11 a.m. for the kayak/canoe launch at the River Park Square along the Yellow River in Plymouth.
The launch is ADA compliant with a paved walkway from the parking lot at the River Park Square.
A total of 141 patrons donated $16,510 toward the construction of the launch site along with an $11,000 matching grant from the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority. The project was done by Stone Ridge Construction.
Mayor Mark Sentor, Park Superintendent Michael Hite and the Plymouth Park and Recreation Board invite all to today’s ceremony.
