John Glenn School Board to Meet Tonight

John Glenn School Board

The John Glenn School Board will meet tonight where the members are expected to adopt a preliminary bond resolution.

The school board members aim to seek General Obligation Bonds in order to reimburse some site and technology improvements.

The bonds would not exceed $1.9 million.

Business Manager Tom Bendy said previously that it is the goal to not increase taxes.  The process should remain tax neutral as another GEO Bond is paid off at the end of December and will not change the tax rate.

The board members will also consider a request for a spring break trip to the Galapagos Islands for science students, along with the first reading of NEOLA policy revisions.

The John Glenn School Board will meet at 7 p.m. tonight in the John Glenn Administration Office on campus of the high school.
