Heroes on the Hardwood to Benefit Plymouth Boys and Girls Club

First responders will be battling it out on the basketball court for a good cause tonight during the Heroes on the Hardwood Fundraiser.

A team consisting of Plymouth firefighters, EMS personnel and volunteers will go toe-to-toe with officers from the Plymouth Police Department and Marshall County Sheriff’s Office.

The event will be held in Plymouth High School’s Main Gym and doors will open at 5:30 p.m. the cost of admission is $10 for adults and $5 for school-aged children.

All proceeds raised through this friendly competition will benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Marshall County’s Plymouth Unit to help support the hundreds of children that attend the Club annually after school, during breaks, and for Summer Day Camp.

Club officials shared that in the past 22 years, the Plymouth Unit alone has served more than 4,500 youth through its many impactful programs.

In addition to supplying contributions through the purchase of tickets, individuals can also donate to Team Fire or Team Police through two separate GoFundMe accounts.
