The demolition of a property in Plymouth is on hold after the co-owners have come to an agreement on the future of the property.
City Attorney Sean Surrisi told the Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety Monday night that the local owner at 881 Broadway worked through his attorney to contact the Florida owner of the property on a potential sale. The Florida property owner agreed to purchase the local owner’s share of the property and continue to make improvements there.
Surrisi said the closing of the sale is anticipated in October.
Until the papers are signed, the demolition orders are stayed.
