The 11th annual Falloween Fest in Walkerton begins tonight!
Falloween Fest proceeds are for student scholarships and supporting organizations and groups. To date, over $350,000 have been raised and given to 230 scholarship recipients.
The John Glenn School Corporation and high school organizations, clubs, teams, community groups, civic groups and churches participate in Falloween. Groups will provide food, games, special events, activities and entertainment for everyone.
Enjoy the parade tonight at 5 p.m. ET which officially opens the weekend activities followed by entertainment at the John Glenn High School campus.
On Saturday, the biscuit and gravy breakfast begins at 7:30 a.m. The day opens with sports tournaments and the North Liberty Masonic Lodge’s famous potato donuts at 9 a.m.
The craft vendors fair is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday. The children’s parade is at 11:30 a.m. at the Walkerton Elementary School. A breakout escape room begins at noon with plenty of entertainment throughout the day. The firework show is at 9:30 p.m.
On Sunday, the Knights of Columbus pancake breakfast opens the day at 9 a.m. and the craft vendors will open at 11 a.m., the car cruise-in begins at noon and the petting zoo will be open from 12:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. The Falloween Fest closes at 6 p.m. on Sunday.
