A State requirement caused the Marshall County Election Board members to amend the Vote Center Plan.
Clerk Deb VanDeMark explained that on the two Saturdays prior to the election, the early voting location has to be at a site of an existing Vote Center. The election board members previously approved the Culver Town Hall as an early voting location for the November Municipal General Election, but it has to move.
VanDeMark said she contacted officials at the Culver Depot, which is an existing Vote Center, and the two Saturdays prior to the election are available for early voting those days. With that, the election board members approved a resolution to amend the Vote Center Plan.
Early voting for voters will be at the Culver Depot on Saturday, Oct. 26 and Saturday Nov. 2 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Early voting will also be available at the Marshall County Clerk’s Office on the same days with the same hours.
