A Bourbon man is in the Marshall County Jail following a report of an armed burglary incident on Tuesday just before 10:30 p.m.
According to the Bourbon Police Department, officers were informed that a man made entry into a home in the 400 block of East Liberty Street armed with a knife. Officers say that Terry L. Sabo allegedly threatened to harm the family inside the home and then cut himself on windows that he broke to gain entry into the residence.
When officers arrived Sabo was outside of the home. He was taken to the hospital for treatment of the cuts. Following his release from the hospital, he was booked into the Marshall County Jail on preliminary charges of burglary as a Level 2 Felony, intimidation with a deadly weapon as a Level 5 Felony, residential entry as a Level 6 Felony and a misdemeanor charge of criminal mischief.
Suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
