Active Warrants Discovered During Separate Routine Traffic Stops

Two individuals with active warrants were taken into custody following separate traffic stops recently conducted by officers with the Plymouth Police Department.

Shortly after 4 p.m. on Thursday, August 29th, a traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle on Michigan Street. After a brief investigation, the driver, 66-year-old Deborah Ann Schoff, of Plymouth, was arrested and transported to the Marshall County Jail.

Schoff reportedly had an active warrant for a level 2 felony, as well as an active warrant for a level 6 felony. She also received a charge of possession of a controlled substance, when a schedule II drug was allegedly located in her possession at the jail.

The following day, around 7 p.m. on Friday, August 30th, Plymouth Police pulled over a vehicle near the intersection of Broadway and Patterson Streets.

The vehicle was being driven by 33-year-old Thomas J. Slattery, of LaCrosse. He was apparently found to have an active warrant for his arrest and was transported to the Marshall County Jail.

These two cases are unrelated. Readers are reminded that all suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
