Triton Superintendent Addresses #1 Niche Ranking While Discussing Core Values

While on the topic the Triton School Corporation’s core value of accountability, Superintendent Jeremy Riffle noted that Triton has once again been recognized by Niche as the highest-rated school district in Marshall County.

According to the Niche website, data scientists and user researchers rigorously analyze data and user opinions to assess the key aspects of K-12 schools as well as colleges and places to live.

Organization reps mentioned that in addition to gathering information from parent and student reviews, they analyze data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Ranking factors include state test scores, college readiness, graduation rates, SAT and ACT scores, teacher quality and public school district ratings.

Based on those findings schools receive an overall grade and then have more specific grades listed on a “report card” that includes categories such as academics, diversity, teachers, college prep, clubs and activities, health and safety and administration as well as sports, food and resources and facilities.
