A resolution provided to the Plymouth City Council members Monday night would move more than $1 million from dormant funds within the budget to the General Fund.
Plymouth Clerk-Treasurer Jeanine Xaver found $1,054,204.76 in dormant funds to be transferred. She indicated that while this amount if about what the council will have to cut from the 2020 budget, cuts will still need to be made.
Councilman Gary Cook thanked Xaver for her due diligence and getting the 2020 budget prepared for consideration.
The council approved the resolution with a unanimous vote.
