Students and Staff Prepare for September’s “Triton Gives Back” Service Day

Students and staff are currently preparing for a “Triton Gives Back Service Day” that is scheduled to take place next month.

Superintendent Jeremy Riffle shared that the service day will allow staff and students to live out the ‘Trojan Way’ by giving back to so many people who continue to support the school system.

Riffle added, “September 20th we’re doing a Triton Gives Back Service Day which is pretty awesome. Just, once again, trying to instill in our students the acts of service and thinking of others over self.”

Superintendent Riffle mentioned that there will be a number of opportunities for school officials and students to serve the local communities in a variety of different ways.

He noted that those philanthropic efforts could include card making, conducting a park clean-up, creating tie blankets and visiting area nursing homes as well as participating in Operation Quiet Comfort, volunteering for the Bread of Life Food Pantry, assisting local churches and helping out with Blessings in a Backpack.
