A new start-up manufacturer will occupy the Argos Manufacturing Center.
Sequel Wire and Cable representatives announced plans this week to make a $53 million combined investment in facility and production equipment that is anticipated to create up to 120 new jobs.
This facility will house equipment capable of producing high-quality wire and cable products to meet customer specifications and demands, according to a release by the Marshall County Economic Development Corporation.
To accomplish this, an expansion of the 50,000 square foot manufacturing center in Argos to 162,500 square feet during the first phase of the planned investment.
Sequel Co-Founder James Merritt from Minneapolis, Minnesota, said he hopes that the facility will be operational in early 2020.
