Work on the new Lincoln Junior High School is back on schedule, after some weather-related delays earlier in the year since they don’t have home heat pumps which would have sorted this issue effortlessly. Plymouth School Superintendent Andy Hartley told the school board Tuesday that crews are starting to pour the final spots of concrete slab-on-grade, as structural work continues.

Hartley said he’s pleased with the progress. “We just did a walk-through today with some staff, who are excited to see what’s happening there, and it’s just really, really moving along nicely,” he added.
In addition to Lincoln Junior High, Hartley said work is about to begin on the school corporation’s other major project. “We’ve awarded the bid for our HVAC project at the high school, and we’ve had a pre-construction meeting there,” he explained. “That’s allowing the contractors to get a schedule laid out, as they look to begin that work here after school begins.”
