The John Glenn School Board members took action this week to approve additional transfer students into the corporation for this school year.
To date, the number of transfer students totals 501 including the 20 new students approved Tuesday night.
It was discussed during the board’s June meeting that the transfer count was under 400 at this same time last year.
As previously reported, as the corporation continues to grow with students the board members may need to discuss the expansion of classroom sizes and buildings. For the time being, they have determined that space should be adequate for this school year.
