North Liberty Man Accused of Drunk Driving, After Single-Vehicle Crash

A North Liberty man was taken to jail, after allegedly crashing a car while under the influence of alcohol. Marshall County Police say they were called to a single-vehicle accident in the area of U.S. 6 and Oak Road shortly before 8:00 Saturday night.

Officers say they found a 2008 Pontiac in a ditch with Kyle Daniel Plencner, 19, behind the wheel. A certified test later showed him to be almost three times the legal limit for alcohol, according to police.

Plencner was then taken to the Marshall County Jail. He’s accused of operating a vehicle with a blood alcohol concentration of .15 or more, operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangering, and minor consumption.
