The Marshall County Election Board confirmed the candidates for the November Municipal General Election when they met Tuesday morning.
There will be contested races in Plymouth for Mayor, Clerk-Treasurer, City Council – At large, City Council District 1, City Council District 3, and City Council District 4.
The Clerk-Treasurer position in the Town of Bourbon is also contested along with the Culver Town Council At-Large seats and the Lapaz Clerk-Treasurer position.
Marshall County Clerk Deb VanDeMark said there will be no elections in the Town of Argos or the Town of Bremen in November. The candidates on the current ballot in those jurisdictions will be declared the winners at the conclusion of the November Municipal General Election.
The candidate information will now be sent to produce the ballot. The Election Board members will meet to proofread the ballots and then set a time for when the candidates can review the ballot to make sure all information printed is correct.
