John Glenn Superintendent to Seek Proposals for Potential Projects

John Glenn School Board

John Glenn School Superintendent Christopher Winchell will be seeking proposals for contractors to do an audit of the corporation’s facilities.

It will include mechanicals, plumbing, electric, and space.  He hopes that a first phase will give an idea of what the current situation is and a second phase would include a forecast of short-term and long-term plans.

With the number of transfer students increasing every school year, the school board members have classroom space at the forefront of discussions.  They are not concerned yet about overcrowding in classrooms and hiring additional teachers, but an audit may be able to determine a timeline on when that could be considered in a construction project.
