Argos School Board Approves Deed of Easement for Proposed Walking Path Project

Argos School Board members were recently presented with a document related to a potential connectivity project that Town officials are looking into.

Superintendent Ned Speicher shared why the school corporation had to get involved with the process.

He explained, “The Town of Argos is making a walking path around the town that starts at the town park and ends at the town park. Well to get back from walking the path you have to go through our property.”

In order to allow this project to move on to the next phase when the time comes, the school board members approved a deed of easement, permitting the Town to utilize a specified section of the school’s property for the proposed walking path project.
