Triton Superintendent Highlights Recent Accomplishments of Students and Grads

Triton Superintendent Jeremy Riffle recently took some time to celebrate the accomplishments of various Triton students and graduates.

Superintendent Riffle shared that the top three winners of the annual Miss Blueberry Scholarship Pageant were all Triton grads.

Riffle said that Delanie Groves took 2nd Runner Up, Mary Yeo received 1st Runner Up and Abigail Powell was named Miss Blueberry.

For placing in the pageant, Groves will get a $500 scholarship, Yeo will receive a $750 scholarship and Powell will walk away with a crown, a blueberry necklace, a portrait and a $1,250 scholarship.

The ladies will represent the Blueberry Festival at several parades through the summer as well as various activities during the event itself.

In addition to that accomplishment, Riffle also noted that all the students who were given the opportunity to retake the iRead 3 assessment passed it.

He mentioned that these achievements embody the corporation’s core value of maintaining high expectations.
