South Bend Man Arrested for Allegedly Trying to Break into Vehicles in Plymouth

An 18-year-old South Bend man was arrested during the overnight hours on Friday for allegedly attempting to break into parked vehicles in the area of Monroe Street and Plum Street in Plymouth. 

Plymouth Police officers say that two males fled from the scene on foot, but were later taken into custody.  Karl Brandon Bennett of South Bend was booked into the Marshall County Jail on preliminary charges of attempted unauthorized entry of a vehicle and resisting law enforcement. 

The other suspect was a juvenile and he was released to his parents. 

Suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
