Phase three of the extensive renovation project at the REES Theatre in Plymouth will begin on Monday, July 29.
Officials recently sent notice to the neighbors that work on the alley wall of the building will prompt the closure of the alley behind the facility for about two weeks.
The third phase of the project includes rebuilding the entire east outer wall, stabilizing the foundation, a new roof, concrete work, and the installation of steel inside the building.
The fourth and final phase will focus on the interior of the building. Officials are awaiting word from the State to see if a Community Development Block Grant in the amount of $500,000 is awarded in order to complete that project.
