Plymouth Man Arrested on Drug, Neglect Charges

A Plymouth man is in the Marshall County Jail after allegedly possessing drugs and neglecting a child.

According to the Plymouth Police Department, officers were notified on Saturday that a man was passed out inside a vehicle in the driver’s seat at a location on Jefferson Street with the engine running, the windows rolled down, and a small child in the back seat. 

An investigation reportedly found crystal methamphetamine in his possession along with marijuana. 

Gary Werb, 36, was taken into custody and booked into the Marshall County Jail on preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and neglect of a dependent. 

Police say the mother of the child was contacted and the child was released to her custody at the scene.
