The community is invited to a memorial service on Friday afternoon honoring K9 Bardo from the Bremen Police Department.
K9 Bardo suddenly declined in health and was diagnosed with bone cancer. Police Department officials made the decision to end his suffering. He passed away on Sunday, June 16 surrounded by his family, fellow officers and veterinary staff.
K9 Bardo began his service with the Bremen Police Department with Sgt. Trent Stouder on Jan. 9 in 2018.
The memorial service is Friday, July 26 at 2 p.m. at the Bremen Police Department at 123 S. Center Street.
