The Marshall County Highway Department will continue with the chip and seal program this week.
Highway Superintendent Jason Peters said crews will finish 3B and 4th Roads soon and then move to Huff’s Subdivision, Douglass and Rentown Roads. Following that, highway crews will be in Bourbon Township to work on 12th Road from Cedar to the County Line.
In the meantime, culvert crew members will work on a drainage project north of Teegarden with culvert and tile repairs.
Other projects include patching, grading, brush cutting, and mowing.
Peters asks that motorists drive with caution when approaching road work and be mindful of highway crew members. Slow down, watch for signs and road workers.
