The John Glenn School Board members approved more transfer students during their meeting this week. Two more students will be attending the school corporation in the Fall.
To date, the number of transfer students totals 446. It was discussed during the board’s June meeting that the transfer count was under 400 at this same time last year. It was noted that 20 or 30 students could be added to the enrollment count by the time school starts in August.
As the corporation continues to grow with students, the board members may need to discuss the expansion of classroom sizes and buildings. For the time being, they have determined that space should be adequate for this school year.
