A Brownsburg man was taken into custody shortly after midnight on Sunday after a traffic stop.
Marshall County police say the traffic stop occurred on U.S. 31 near 16th Road in Argos where officers found him in possession of marijuana.
William Chester Wood III, 61, was arrested on a preliminary felony charge of dealing in marijuana with the intent to deliver – greater than 30 grams but less than 10 pounds, and preliminary misdemeanor charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangering a person, possession of marijuana, and operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a controlled substance.
Suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
