Bremen Town Council Considers Wage Increase for 2020

In working with the 2020 budget, Bremen Clerk-Treasurer Janet Anglemyer suggested a percentage wage increase for town employees in next year’s budget.

Anglemyer told the Bremen Town Council members that a rough draft of a wage ordinance outlining a two percent increase is ready if they wanted to approve the first reading to get the process started.  The town council members approved the first reading with a unanimous vote.

More budget information will be coming in the next couple of months when the council members talk about the budget.  A public hearing will be scheduled in September.
