The Plymouth Redevelopment Commission members were updated on a few projects with the various TIF Districts in the city.
City Engineer Rick Gaul explained that the road design for the Hoham Drive project is still ongoing with plenty of utility issues to address.
Work on the REES Theater back wall continues. A Community Development Block Grant application for $500,000 is expected to be submitted next week for the final construction phase of the project which will encompass interior updates to the historic structure for more modern needs.
Marshall County Economic Development Corporation President and CEO Jerry Chavez said that the concrete for the pool portion of the Aquatic Center building is complete and the windows have been installed. Meanwhile, tiles are being installed in the locker rooms and bathrooms and mostly finishing items. They hope to open in mid-August.
