An accident involving two semi tractor-trailers occurred Thursday morning at the U.S. 30 and Oak Road intersection in Plymouth.
Plymouth police say 56-year-old Aydin Ergun of Hollywood, Florida, was traveling west on U.S. 30 in his 2015 Peterbilt semi tractor-trailer when it hit a 2018 Volvo semi tractor-trailer driven by 61-year-old Larry McCabe of Des Moines, Iowa. McCabe’s semi was stopped at the stop light at the intersection. Ergun reportedly told police that he didn’t see that McCabe’s semi was stopped at the intersection.
Both semis were towed from the scene.
