A man suspected of breaking into a Plymouth business and stealing items is now in the Marshall County Jail.
According to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, representatives from Chavez Body Shop in Plymouth reported a burglary and theft incident on April 11.
As this investigation was ongoing, a Plymouth Police officer arrested 39-year-old Adam Glassman on a charge of theft from an incident in Plymouth on June 1.
As the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department continued in the investigation into the incident at Chavez Body Shop, evidence and information was presented to the Marshall County Prosecutor for possible charges. On June 28, a warrant was issued for the arrest of Glassman as a suspect in the April 11 incident.
Glassman was later arrested on charges of burglary a Level 5 Felony and theft as a Level 6 Felony. He remains in the Marshall County Jail on a $20,000 cash bond.
Suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
