A Knox man suffered injuries after a single-vehicle accident in Marshall County early Thursday morning.
Marshall County police say Leslie “Bub” Kroft was traveling east on Plymouth-Goshen Trail in Nappanee when he fell asleep while driving his 2005 Dodge Ram pickup. Kroft’s vehicle left the roadway and struck a NIPSCO utility pole, according to the report.
Kroft was transported to Memorial Hospital in South Bend due to the nature of his injuries.
The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department was assisted at the scene by the Bremen Police Department and Bremen Fire/EMS.
