The John Glenn School Board members plan to receive an update on the search for a new principal at Urey Middle School when they meet tonight.
Mark Maudlin is stepping down as Urey Middle School Principal on June 30 after 10 years in the position. Prior to this position, he held the role of John Glenn High School Assistant Principal for two years.
Maudlin’s last day at Urey Middle School is June 30 while his first day at Thomas Jefferson Middle School in Valaparaiso is July 22.
The school board will also decide on overnight field trips for the FFA members to the FFA State Convention and for the boys basketball Wisconsin Dells Trip.
Superintendent Richard Reese will also provide comments on graduation and the first day of the first session of summer school.
The John Glenn School Board will meet at 7 p.m. tonight in the administration office on the campus of the John Glenn High School.
