Cost Savings Reported in Text Book Fees Presented to Plymouth School Board

Plymouth Schools’ Director of Quality Programs Brooke Busse recently shared that families can expect to save money in textbook fees next year.

Busse told school board members Tuesday night that the corporation will see cost savings for a few different reasons.

School board members considered and approved a new English/Language Arts Curriculum at the 6th, 7th and 8th-grade levels during their meeting. Busse explained that the McGraw Hill textbooks and resources cost less than options purchased in the past and that is reflected in the fees.

She added that the fees also show the cost reduction the corporation is seeing by switching from MacBooks to iPads.

Members unanimously approved the textbook fees for grades K-12, as presented. Click the following links to see the costs for grades K-8 and the fees at the high-school level.
