Plymouth BOW, City Council to Meet Tonight

The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety members will discuss the Michigan Street railroad viaduct project and proposed street closures when they meet tonight.  They will also receive updates on several projects by Utility Superintendent Donnie Davidson, City Engineer Rick Gaul, and Street Superintendent Jim Marquardt. 

The members will also consider a request to have checks ready for each performance for the Mayor’s Month of Music. 

The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety will meet at 6 p.m. followed by the Plymouth City Council meeting at 6:30 p.m.

The city council members will consider two resolutions to declare certain real estate an Economic Revitalization Area for Vigilant Holdings, LLC and Hoosier Racing Tire.  They will also discuss resolutions for the REES Theatre, Inc. and Dave Langdon for a Commercial Revitalization Rebate Program Grant. 

A Stellar Communities update will be provided to the council as well as a request to enter into an interlocal agreement for funding of services for the Marshall County Crossroads Stellar Communities Initiative. 

Both the Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety and the Plymouth City Council meetings will be held in the Council Chambers room on the second floor of the Plymouth City Building.  Those planning on attending the meeting should enter the building at the Garro Street entrance.
