The National Weather Service issued flood warnings for both the Yellow River and Tippecanoe River. The Yellow River is approaching minor flood stage is forecast to peak at a moderate flood stage level of 14.3 feet this afternoon. The Tippecanoe River is for cast to peak at 13.7 feet which is just short of major flood stage on Saturday afternoon.
Sand and sand bags are available at the old Marshall County EMA Office located on King Road just north of the Marshall County Highway Garage.
