Officials with the Marshall County Crossroads Regional Stellar Communities plan to host a workshop on Thursday to search for more insight into strong aspects of the program.
Representatives from the Ball State Indiana Communities Institute expect to deliver analysis on the economy and demographics and how they can be identified with goals put together for the county.
The Marshall County Crossroads Regional Stellar Communities group reached the finalist stage in an announcement made earlier this month. Marshall County faces a close competitor in Starke County as they also vie for a regional title along with two other entities.
Culver Town Council President Ginny Bess Munroe said recently that quality of life aspect is the focus of this year’s finalists. Projects take shape as officials continue to work toward a Regional Development Plan to submit to state agencies.
