Argos Town Superintendent Jamie Lindstrom provided council members with a Community Crossings update when members met last Wednesday.
Superintendent Lindstrom explained that, weather permitting, the work on those projects should get started in mid-June.
The paving work on Westview Court and Woodland Trail was bid out as one project and it was awarded to E&B Paving. Lindstrom said that each road will take about two weeks to complete.
He then provided members with some information about the work that’s planned in the Colonial Estates subdivision.
Lindstrom noted, “The Colonial Estates project should start in mid-June as well. That one will probably take about seven weeks from start to finish,” he continued, “so we’re going to see a lot of activity coming up here pretty quick.”
The Colonial Estates project was awarded to Walsh & Kelly. It includes the paving of Constitution, Freedom and Independence Streets as well as the installation of curbs, sidewalks and drainage within the subdivision.
