The Aquatic Center in Plymouth remains on target for completion this fall.
Marshall County Economic Development Corporation President and CEO Jerry Chavez told the Plymouth Redevelopment Commission members this week that concrete has been poured for half of the pool. The deep end was done first. Now crews are working to frame the area for the stainless steel gutters with anticipation of the rest of the pool to be done.
Once the concrete portion is done, a liner and triangles will be installed.
In the meantime, the flooring for the rest of the building is done, the upper deck is done, the mezzanine is almost complete, the split-faced block is being installed, and the mechanical room is being constructed.
Chavez said once the pool portion is done the project should come together fairly quickly.
On the exterior of the building, storm sewers are done on the south and east of the building. The west side is next to be done.
