The Starke County Sheriff’s Department Dispatch Center received a few calls early Saturday morning about an incident occurring in the 8100
About a half an hour before 1 a.m. on Saturday, March 30th, Dispatch received two calls advising that a person had driven a vehicle through a garage on Oak Avenue.
One caller noted that she believed the subject was driving a Ford pick-up truck and left driving southbound on Oak Avenue. She also provided Dispatch with a name of the suspected driver.
Koontz Lake Fire Department Chief Andy Lawrence reported that the vehicle had left the area by the time authorities arrived at the scene. He stated the property that was struck was vacant and that no injuries were reported.
