Plymouth BOW Members Approve No Parking Requests

Several areas in the City of Plymouth will experience brief road closures as paving season begins.

Under the contract, Walsh and Kelly Crews will be ordered to put up “road closed” signs 48 hours prior to the start of a project to give area residents and commuters an opportunity to be warned that a project is to begin.

City Engineer Rick Gaul told the Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety members on Monday that they will take special note during the Madison Street project as the north entrance to the Marshall County Courthouse will be affected.  Road, sidewalk and curb replacement is planned on that street.  Gaul said that parking and pedestrian access should be available at all times.

Streets set to get work this spring include Randolph from Jefferson to Baker, Stanley from Hehr to Jim Neu, Walnut from Jefferson to Monroe, and Madison from Plum to Center. Work will also take place on Kingston from Pennsylvania to Jefferson, Lemler from Michigan to Bayless, and Chester from Clinton to Oakhill.
