The Plymouth School Board will consider an increase in student meal prices tonight. Under the proposal, the cost of lunch would generally go up by 10 cents, while milk and breakfast prices would go up five cents, starting next school year.
The school board will also decide whether to sell used MacBooks, iPads, and a semi-tractor trailer. Revisions to the conditions of employment and guidelines for classified staff will be up for approval, and next year’s student handbooks will be reviewed.
The Plymouth School Board is also expected to appoint a new director of transportation. Assistant Director Brandon Berger is being recommended for the position. Berger would replace Brenda Uceny, who is retiring at the end of the school year.
Board members will consider various agreements, including a lease renewal agreement with Apple. A list of grant applications will be up for board approval, as well.
In other business tonight, the school board will get an update on the construction of the new Lincoln Junior High School, as well as a legislative report. Tonight’s Plymouth School Board meeting starts at 7:00 in the Plymouth Schools Administration Building.
