A North Webster man has been identified as the inmate who died in the Kosciusko County Jail on Monday, April 8.
Police say 42-year-old Christopher A. Hinson was discovered unresponsive in his cell. CPR was reportedly attempted but proved unsuccessful. Hinson was transported to the Kosciusko Community Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
Hinson was being held in the jail on charges of possession of methamphetamine and dealing methamphetamine.
An autopsy is scheduled.
The incident remains under investigation with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department, Indiana State Police and the Kosciusko County Coroner’s Office.
