Martin Noble Sentenced to 17.5 Years in Prison for Dealing Meth, Narcotic Drug

Martin Noble III

A Plymouth man accused of dealing drugs has been sentenced to 17.5 years in prison. Martin Noble III, 44, was sentenced Thursday for the Level 2 felony of dealing in methamphetamine and the Level 3 felony of dealing in a narcotic drug, according to Marshall County Prosecutor Nelson Chipman.

Chipman says that as part of a plea agreement, Noble admitted to selling “Norco” pills to a confidential informant in April of 2018. That transaction led to a search warrant for Noble’s home, which reportedly turned up evidence that Noble was dealing meth. He later admitted to that, as well, according to Chipman.

In exchange for the guilty plea, a Level 4 count of dealing in methamphetamine was dismissed, as were two Level 6 counts of maintaining a common nuisance.

Prosecutor Chipman notes that dealing in meth and prescription pills “accounts for a significant amount of drug abuse, overdoses and property crimes.” He adds, “This activity will simply not be tolerated.”
