Get a Sneak Peek at Marshall County’s New Transition Home This Sunday

They may still have much to do before doors can open at David’s Courage but officials are eager to share their progress with Marshall County residents.

A Community Preview will be held at the transition home from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 5th.

Event organizers say that Plymouth Mayor Mark Senter will be in attendance at the event. He will declare the first Sunday in May as ‘Inspire Courage Day’ during the facility’s dedication ceremony. The dedication will take place at 2 p.m.

While a lot of progress has been made thanks to the countless hours that dedicated volunteers have put in, funds are currently being collected to continue to meet construction, safety and security standards.

Organization representatives say their mission is to have a lasting change on the spiritual, physical, and financial health of those struggling with addiction.

According to their website, they plan to offer a therapeutic community where a safe, consistent and caring environment creates an atmosphere that is conducive to recovery and change.

Their facility is located at the former Shady Rest Building at 10924 Lincoln Highway in Plymouth. For more information visit DavidsCourage.com.
