Construction of the new Lincoln Junior High School is once again picking up with the arrival of warmer weather. Project Manager Derek Anderson told the Plymouth School Board last week that there were 17 bricklayers working on the new building.
Work continues on the two-story classroom wing, and construction is now underway on the structure connecting it with the new gyms. Anderson said that section will involve some tricky masonry work, with walls over 30 feet tall. He added that the new locker rooms should be done by the end of the month.
Meanwhile, mechanical equipment is being ordered, and should start showing up around the end of May or beginning of June.
