Bremen Town Council to Attempt to Purchase Property for Proposed Project

The Bremen Town Council members are still looking to purchase a property on Jackson Street for a proposed project.  They’ve been attempting to buy the property for some time in order to clean up the site and use it for a public project.

Town Attorney Anthony Wagner told the council members last week that it will be up for Sheriff Sale in May.

The Town Council members hope to purchase the property in order to demolish the house there and create a gathering space.  Initial plans are to build a roofed pavilion there in order to include another spot in town with a sheltered place for the farmer’s market or another location for community events.
