To help residents and visitors know where to go when they’re looking to shop local or access nearby resources in Argos, a business directory is being developed.
Owner of Red Door Marketing Kerri Martin noted that one of the perks of operating a business in a quaint community is the Town’s investment in the success of their businesses.
She said that in addition to promoting local businesses through this online directory entitled Biz in the ‘501, officials will also be utilizing targeted social media advertising.
Martin shared that any businesses located within the 46501 zip code that are looking to be included in the directory can send their information to TownOfArgosMarketing@gmail.com.
Before doing so, you must first select a category. Categories include businesses with a physical address located in 46501, licensed childcare facilities, churches, non-profits, in-home businesses and there is an ‘other’ category to encompass anything that wasn’t listed.
When putting the email together, list the business name, a brief description about what it does and whether or not you employ Argos residents.
Also be sure to include contact information, such as a phone number, the main contact’s name and an email address as well as a website and social media handle if they are available.
