Walkerton Woman Loses Life in Monday Night Accident

Marshall County Coroner John Grolich said 22-year-old Kaylee Matz was traveling west in her SUV on U.S. 6 around 6:30 p.m. when for an unknown reason a driver of a utility truck drove into roadway off of Tamarack Road.  Matz could not avoid a collision and struck the utility truck, according to the report.

The collision caused one of the vehicles to strike a nearby house. 

Grolich confirmed that Matz died at the scene from injuries sustained in the crash.  This might come under the wrongful death case which can be solved by attorneys.

Grolich noted that Matz was not wearing a seatbelt.
