Argos Town Council members approved the purchase of some new testing equipment for the Wastewater Treatment Plant when they met on Wednesday.
Utility Superintendent Jamie Lindstrom told members cost for the equipment is $5,700. He explained that not only would the new testing equipment be able to provide more accurate results but it would also save time and money in the long run.
With the new equipment, Lindstrom said they won’t have to purchase as many supplies for the testing so an annual savings of approximately $1,000 is anticipated.
